Our Concerns
Power Sector
Our Power Division continues to be an industry leader after becoming the first Independent Power Producer (IPP) near the end of the millennium, paving the way for private enterprise participation in the Power Sector of Bangladesh. The Power Division of United Group has accumulated a development portfolio of 2,137 Megawatts across 17 power plants. Currently, it is contributing 1,301 Megawatts to the national grid through 10 operational power generation facilities.
Real Estate
Our real estate sector started its journey in 1991 focusing on infrastructure development. Over the years our real estate division has worked on many projects ensuring quality and reliability with eye pleasing designs.

In higher education, United International University, UIU, which began with just 75 students in 2005, now boasts 12,000+ students on its campus situated 2 km east of the American Embassy. Furthermore, United City is also home to United Medical College Hospital (UMCH) and United College of Nursing. UMCH serves as a modern 400-bed teaching facility equipped with specialized departments and cutting-edge technology, bridging academic medical education with top-tier clinical care. United Port & Logistics
Another diverse venture of United Group is the United Land Port Teknaf Ltd. situated on the bank of the Naff River near Teknaf. It is a transit for goods between our country and Myanmar. As for now, it stood out to be an example of of PPP projects of the government. It is in the process of becoming a fully comprehensive port unit capable of providing a one-stop service to the exporters, importers and the government alike.

And to that end we have established prestigious institutions run by faculties with a stellar track record. Sir John Wilson School is one of the highest rated private schools. In higher education UIU which began with just 75 students in 2005 now boasts 5500 students in our own campus situated 2km East from the American embassy.
